reTHINK WASTE: reALIZE. rePURPOSE. reSPOND
A week long, pop-up educational exhibit designed to challenge our views on waste materials was on display October 15-19, 2018. Ten items - from apparel to toys to daily necessities were displayed with accompanying factoids about how consumers can make changes to reduce our individual and collective environmental footprint. Participants were encouraged to visit the exhibit’s online quiz to enter into a prize draw. Winners will be notified by end of October.

Recycling Collection Drive
In support of Partners in Project Green and Diabetes Canada, Commerce Court participated in the Recycling Collection Drive which took place throughout Waste Reduction Week. A collection bin for unwanted clothing and household textiles was placed in the Compass from October 15 to 19.
Thank you to all who've provided donations. The final tally of clothes and textiles diverted will be provided by campaign organizers by end of November.
