BIA Evaluation of King Street Pilot Study

BIA Evaluation of King Street Pilot Study

The City of Toronto is undertaking a King Street Pilot Study commencing November 2017 in order to find ways to improve public transit. King Street is the busiest surface transit route in the entire City, carrying more than 65,000 riders on a typical weekday. Although the City and TTC have made recent changes to improve streetcar service, they recognize that a more significant change is needed.

The Toronto Financial District BIA has been an active stakeholder throughout the process and will be closely monitoring the pilot program to observe the impacts on commuting patterns for our area workforce. In order to do so, the BIA is kindly requesting that our tenants complete a survey that will assist in their review of the pilot program before and during the pilot period.
