be revolutionary campaign
Commerce Court is pleased to launch a 2017 campaign aimed at engaging our tenants and visitors in an often overlooked building feature - the revolving door. Invented in 1899 by Theophilus Van Kannel, the revolving door is credited with reducing energy by as much as eight times as a swing door. Revolving Doors reduce the amount of outside air from entering the building so less energy is required to heat or cool entry ways.
The campaign launched with a Bay Street installation outside of the West Tower. Posters and elevator screens continue to inspire occupants and guests to Be Revolutionary and use the revolving doors.
